To mark World Environment Day 2025, the NSS Cell in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), organized a plantation drive at multiple locations in Golaghat—including 3 No. Chandmari LP School, Langar Shah Mazar, and the university’s main campus at Rangajan.

The event was supported by the Assam Forest Department (Social Forestry Wing), Golaghat, Khushi Foundation, and the 142 BN CRPF. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Professor G. Singaiah, along with students from the Departments of Agricultural Science, Political Science, B.Tech, Social Work, and others, actively participated in the initiative. More than 60 saplings were planted on June 5, 2025.
