A one day workshop on “Millet and Millet's Products” was organised jointly by IQAC and the department of Economics, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat, Assam on 16th September, 2024. The workshop was held at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya campus located at Bogorijeng, Golaghat, Assam. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. G. Singaiah, Hon’ble, Vice Chancellor, BSSRV. Mr. Mrinal Saikia, MLA of Khumtai constituency graced the occasion as distinguished guest. Ram Babu, a national figure on Millet's Products from Andhra Pradesh, joined the programme as the Resource Person. Around 30 participants from different parts of the state participated in the workshop. In connection with the workshop, an exhibition for promoting Millet products was also organised. Dr. Debabhuson Borah, Coordinator of IQAC and Dr. Jitu Saikia, Head (i/c) of the Department of Economics and also the Convenor of the workshop expressed gratitude to all stakeholders and students of BSSRV for their assistance and support in organising the event.
