Day 1: 6th March, 2025

On 6^th March 2025, a Naturopathy and Yoga health camp was organized by the Department of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, Golaghat. Shri Pulak Mahanta, Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat District, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. He was accompanied by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of BSSRV. On this auspicious occasion, both of them delivered speeches illustrating the importance of Naturopathy and Yoga in human life. With reference to the event, students participated in a mass yoga event followed by Health check-up and Consultation by Dr. Pyagang Mado and Dr. Banasri Gogoi. They also provided treatment for pain related conditions such as Acupuncture, Manual massage, and cupping massage. The team of faculty members and students also organized a health checkup at Seloni Bornamghar near the Viswavidyalaya campus, where group of elderly people consulting more than 30 in number was provided food items as per the Naturopathy Diet and free health check-up advices.

Day 2: 10th March, 2025

On 10^th March 2025, Free Health Camp for Geriatric people have conducted in Amar Ghor Old Age Home, Golaghat, Assam. It is organized by the department of Naturopathy and Yoga, sponsored by National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune. The occasion was graced by Second in Commandant 142 BN CRPF SENTIL KUMAR G. he delivered a speech on the importance of Naturopathy and Yoga and emphasized to take a detail history of Geriatric people’s Din Chariya (Daily Routine). He also enlightened on how young people may learn from the old people about life’s longevity. Prof. G Singaiah, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BSSRV also delivered a speech illustrating the need of spreading the awareness on Naturopathy and Yoga in our day-to-day life. In the event, more than 50 geriatric people mostly above the age of 60 years participated in a mass yoga event followed by Health check-up and Consultation by Dr. Pyagang Mado and Dr. Banasri Gogoi. They also provided treatment for pain related conditions such as Acupuncture, Manual massage, and cupping massage.
