To explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence across diverse domains- including engineering, management, sciences, healthcare, business, education, agriculture, law, humanities, and social sciences—a National Level Conference titled "Artificial Intelligence as an Intervention across Disciplines: Prospects, Issues/Challenges, and Strategies" was held on 16th–17th May 2025 at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, in collaboration with Research Forum–India, New Delhi.

he conference was jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science, Department of Management, and Department of Micro-electronics and Semiconductor. The event was graced by Prof. J. P. Sampath Kumar, Director of the National Institute of Design, Jorhat, Assam, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Samip Baruah from Royal Global University, Assam, delivered the Keynote Address, highlighting the dynamic intersection of AI with various academic and professional domains.

The hybrid-mode conference brought together over 16 distinguished speakers and resource persons from across India, who deliberated on the evolving role of AI, addressing critical issues, challenges, and ethical considerations involved in its integration across disciplines.

A total of sixty research papers were presented by scholars from various esteemed institutions, including Ravenshaw University, Himalayan University, Telangana State Horticultural University, BPUT University (Odisha), Assam Engineering College, Royal Global University (Assam), Girijananda University, Dibrugarh University, Bodoland University, Nagaland University, NEHU, Assam University, Gwalior University, among others.
