Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat, Assam, is a Government of Assam established Teaching & Research, Unitary and Non-affiliating Residential University established under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2020. The University is committed to providing quality higher education, promoting research and innovation, and creating an inclusive academic environment for students from India and abroad.

International Students

The University intends to attract and facilitate international students from different countries for pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, certificate and other academic programmes offered by BSSRV, subject to the applicable rules, regulations and eligibility requirements.

International students at BSSRV may constitute students who:

• Come from countries other than India for pursuing higher education at the University.

• Seek admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D. and other academic programmes.

• Participate in academic, research, cultural and co-curricular activities of the University.

• Engage in collaborative learning and knowledge exchange with Indian students and faculty members.

• Contribute to an international and multicultural academic environment on the University campus.

Academic Opportunities

BSSRV may provide international students opportunities to pursue studies in various emerging and interdisciplinary areas, including humanities and social sciences, sciences, agriculture, management, allied and health sciences, and other programmes offered by the University from time to time.

Support and Facilitation

The International Students Cell of BSSRV will facilitate international students in matters relating to admission, academic coordination, orientation, campus facilities and other necessary assistance. The Cell will also work towards attracting international students to the University and suggest appropriate facilities and support mechanisms for their academic and campus requirements.

The Cell may coordinate with the concerned academic departments and administrative offices for providing necessary guidance and assistance to international students in accordance with University rules and applicable Government regulations.
