As part of the academic collaboration between Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat, Assam and Satya Sai University for Human Excellence, Navanihal, Karnataka, two final-year M.A. students from the Department of Sanskrit and Vedic Studies, Satya Sai University for Human Excellence, visited BSSRV from 23 to 25 September 2026.

The visit was undertaken as part of the efforts to operationalize and strengthen the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities, particularly with regard to fostering cooperation in the area of value education and its integration with regular academic studies.

During the three-day visit, seven interactive sessions were organised for the students of BSSRV. The sessions provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction between the visiting students and the BSSRV community. Through discussions and interactive activities, the sessions focused on the significance of values in education and their role in personal development, social responsibility, and holistic learning.

The initiative was aimed at promoting a broader understanding of education in which academic knowledge is complemented by ethical, human, social, and cultural values. The interactive format of the sessions encouraged students to participate actively, express their views, and reflect upon the relevance of values in their academic and personal lives.

The sessions received an enthusiastic and positive response from the students as well as faculty members of BSSRV. The active participation of the student community made the interactions engaging and meaningful. The visit also provided an important platform for students and faculty members of both institutions to exchange ideas and explore possibilities for further collaboration.
The three-day programme marked a significant step towards giving practical expression to the objectives of the MoU between BSSRV and Satya Sai University for Human Excellence. It demonstrated the potential for collaborative initiatives aimed at integrating value education with mainstream academic programmes.

The visit concluded with the shared understanding that such interactions and academic engagements would contribute towards the holistic development of students and the creation of a more value-oriented educational environment. BSSRV looks forward to further strengthening its academic partnership with Satya Sai University for Human Excellence through similar collaborative programmes in the future.
