Societal-Business Incubation Centre
Established in 2024, the Vishwavidyalaya Incubation Centre provides a facility that supports startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators by providing resources such as mentorship, funding, office space, networking opportunities, and technical support. These centers help students, researchers, and faculty members transform their ideas into viable businesses.

Its motto and vision are to produce ATMA NIRBHAR SNATAKS (Self Reliant Graduates). Second, A Self-Sufficient Production Consumption Community and ultimately Culturalization through Production, Value Addition and Distribution.

Incubation Initiatives/outcomes:
1. Orientation on Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Incubators for the students of BSSRV, delivered by Dr. Danish Tamuly, Director of NeatHub AAU Jorhat on 6th Sep. 2024. Details on https://www.northeasternchronicle.in/news/entrepreneurship-neatehub-assam/
2. My Palette-My Aahara, a seminar on Millets Consumption, Healthy and Wholesome food habits was delivered by Mr. Ram Babu Garu from Andhra Pradesh on 15th & 16th Sep 2024. This was attended by students, staff and external society members.
3. The launch of Livelihoods Empowerment Opportunity Scheme on 5th Dec. 2024 for self-employment platform, which has attracted about 25 Artisans from the local society.
4. The Incubation Centre has its own product i.e. Honey, which has been collected and processed for sale only at Rs. 700/kg.
5. Our student Incubatee members have started to produce and supply products like Muga Silk, Soya Candles, Mushroom, Handcrafted pickles and Assamese breakfast items.
6. Exposure tours: 05.10.24 to Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. 23.11.24 to Bahubali Eggs Industry. 29.03.2025 to AAU Sugarcane, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Station and renowned Udyogi Farmer Mr. Pallab Gogoi at Buralikson, Golaghat.
