Theme and Rationale
Academic writing is a foundational skill for faculty and researchers, yet it remains one of the least systematically supported — encompassing research paper structuring, publication ethics, literature review technique, and grant/proposal writing. At the same time, the rapid emergence of Artificial Intelligence tools has begun reshaping both how academic writing is produced and how teaching itself is planned, delivered, and assessed. Faculty across disciplines are increasingly expected to navigate both domains — writing competently for publication, and teaching effectively using AI-enabled methods — often without structured institutional training in either.
