On 06/08/2026, the live telecast of the inaugural ceremony for the ceremonial distribution of the Mukhyamantri Nijut Maina and Mukhyamantri Nijut Babu Asoni schemes, held at Guwahati and inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, was viewed at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat.

On this occasion, the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of BSSRV delivered an inspiring address, encouraging students to make the best use of the opportunities provided through these flagship welfare schemes. Shri Rajkumar Bedanta Bikash Borgohain graced the event as the Chief Guest and also addressed the students, motivating them to pursue academic excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.

The programme concluded with the distribution of the application forms for the Mukhyamantri Nijut Maina and Mukhyamantri Nijut Babu Asoni schemes among the eligible students.
