Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign was organised by the Department of Social Work and NSS Cell, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya in collaboration with Assam Cancer Care Foundation ( ACCF) on 14th October, 2025. The campaign was part of the broader Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which runs from 1st October to 31st October each year. This month is internationally recognized to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and support to those affected by it. During the event, the resource persons from ACCF conducted an information session where the importance of breast cancer screening, early diagnosis, and preventive measures were discussed. The event ended on a positive note with questions and answer sessions where both faculties and students actively participated.
