The Department of Computer Science, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, Golaghat successfully organized a two-day National level Conference titled "National Conference on Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Multidisciplinary Contexts (NCAAIMC)-2024" on 28-29 November 2024. The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. Prashanta Kr. Mishra, Hon,ble Vice-Chancellor of the Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam on the 28/11/2024. In his speech, Prof. Mishra nicely explained the role of AI in interdisciplinary context. He has also focused on the importance of the computer scientist in upliftment of other various disciplines. Prof. D.K Bhattacharya, the Guest of honour of the event and a senior professor of Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, delivered a very insightful keynote lecture on "Cardio Vascular Disease Detection using Machine Learning Techniques". Invited special guest Prof. C. P. Suresh, Dept. of Horticulture, NEHU, Tura Campus and Dr. Apurba Saikia, Pricipal Furkating College, Golaghat grace the occasion by their presence. Various institutes and organizations from different parts of the country namely, Dibrugarh University, Gauhati University, NIT Nagaland, Tezpur University, Manipur University, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (Odisha), Pandit Deendayal Energy University (Gujarat), Cotton University, Sibsagar Univesrity, more than 40 young researchers have participated and presented their research papers in the conference.
